Estelle and Jerry Grossman Honored

Grossmans

Estelle and Jerry Grossman were honored with Life Memberships in MHI at the December 2007 dinner meeting. The presentation read:

"It's great to be alive and to help others." Mended Hearts live this every day. One of our members has such a zest for living that he energizes everyone he meets. His enthusiasm, positive attitude, and sincerity are evident in everything he does. Helping others is his full time occupation.

Jerry is the Visiting Coordinator at MCV, and also visits at Henrico Doctors' Hospital. He is a matchless fundraiser, and also is active with the American Heart Association. He is the Red Cap Chairman for the Heart Walk, works with the Gala, and sits on the Richmond Metro Board. He is always willing to do anything Mended Hearts or the American Heart Association asks of him.

Estelle supports Jerry and Chapter 28. She corralled a photographer at the heart walk to be sure the caption on the newspaper picture told about Mended Hearts. Her major behind the scenes donation is hours of potential 'honey do' time.

The Executive Committee of Chapter 28 recognizes the contributions of Estelle and Jerry Grossman by presenting them with Life Memberships in Mended Hearts. Congratulations.
